Tracy Skehan and I had a very good crowd in Southport for today's Book Event. Below are some pics.
One interesting customer: A man came over to our table and picked up a book. He looked at the cover of the book and said, "I've seen this woman." (meaning Summer) I asked him where and when, he said, "I have delivered pizza to her." He has delivered pizza for a local parlor for the past year. He couldn't remember exactly when or where, but he had delivered to her. He was going to go back through his records to see if they could help him. He only knew it was in the last year. He was sure it was her. He said he would contact me when he knew and then I would call Oak Island Police Sergeant Charlie Blalock (who was at the event, pictured below) and he would go have a look.

Rick have you heard back yet from the man who thought he remembered delivering pizza to them?
ReplyDeleteNot yet, but I am heading back again next weekend for another event this one bigger I guess. The community is putting together. He will contact Tracy when and if he can nail it.
